MSI uses multiple wavelengths of LED light to create en face views of individual retinal structures from the internal limiting membrane to the choroid. Retinal function can be evaluated via FAF, and processed retinal and choroidal oxygenation maps. In addition, disease-specific retinal findings can be viewed in stereo and Panorama widefield. MSI provides the practitioner with a comprehensive analysis of the retina that is essential to the early detection of many retinal and systemic diseases.
